Food items sought for Kids Care Food Drive

The students of Glenview District 34, Our Lady of Perpetual Help School and Northbrook-Glenview District 30 are coming together in conjunction with Character Counts! week — October 21 – 25 — to collect food items to be donated to the Northfield Township Food Pantry.

Items of great need are: pancake mix and syrup, pasta sauce, juice/juice boxes, coffee, tea, kid’s snacks/snack packs, cookies, crackers, macaroni and cheese, instant mashed mpotatoes, peanut butter, jelly, paper products, cereal, oatmeal and canned spaghetti, ravioli, chili and corned beef hash. (Please check expiration dates.)

Drop boxes will be located in each school during Character Counts! week. Daily collection tallies will be listed by grade level. To find out how your grade is doing, click here.
